You can use any super bulky weight yarn to knit your Heron hat, so it will knit up quickly, ready for you to wear in no time.

Gauge
16 STS and 13 RNDS in 2x2 Rib Stitch unstretched on 10 mm (US 15) needles = 4x4 inches/10x10 cm
Suggested Needles and Notions
16 inch/40 cm 10 mm (US 15) circular needles.
Five 10 mm (US 15) DPNS.
Or alternative needle sizes to obtain gauge.
Magic Loop can be used to knit small circumferences in the round as an alternative to DPNS.
Optional Notions: Stitch markers, locking stitch marker, darning needle, row counter.

Suggested materials
Custom Woolen Mills Prairie Sea Fusion (1 lb/454 g = 300 yd/274 m).
