Roulé Sweater Knitting Pattern

CA$12.00

This listing is for the original Olann knitting pattern for the Roulé Sweater, designed in collaboration with @mergegoods and @ctristinagareau. This knitting pattern was created and written by Olann. Note that the Roulé Hat Knitting Pattern is also available to purchase.

Roulé in French means “rolled”. This design is an ode to softness, to roundness, to turning inwards for reflection and embracing life in all its curvature.

The Roulé Sweater is designed to be oversized. The neck and cuffs are meant to be rolled, for soft openings and a gentle sensation on the body. Knit using three strands of worsted weight mohair, is lightweight and perfect for layering pieces underneath. The raglan design has a dropped armhole, for extra slouchiness, and a flat finished hem, so you won’t experience any pinching. The sleeves are generous but tapered towards the cuff. It’s time to get your roll on!

The Roulé Sweater is an intermediate level knitting project. Knit from the top down, the seamless construction is easy to try on as you go. You will shape the neck using German Short Tows. Once the body is complete, the sleeves are worked in rounds from the upper arm to the wrist, and the collar is picked up and knit from the neck.
