Rouylé Hat Knitting Pattern

Rouylé Hat Knitting Pattern
This listing is for the original Olann knitting pattern for the Roulé Hat, designed in collaboration with @mergegoods and @cristinagareau. This knitting pattern was created and written by Olann. Note that the Roulé Sweater Knitting Pattern is also available to purchase.
Roulé in French means “rolled”. This design is an ode to softness, to roundness, to turning inwards for reflection and embracing life in all its curvature.
The Roulé Hat is knit as a long tube, and is designed to be rolled up to your desired length. It is shaped with decreases to form the crown of the head, and topped with an I-cord nib, for extra pizzazz.
Available in 3 sizes, Baby (Youth, Adult), this is a beginner to intermediate level knitting pattern. Knit using approximately 193 (237, 288) yd/176 (217, 263) m worsted weight mohair.
I recommend using Katia Ingenua held triple, but you can use any weight fluffy yarn held to get gauge.
Suggested needles are 9 mm (US 13) 16 inch/40 cm circular needles, and DPNS in the same size for the body of the hat, and 5.5 mm (US 9) DPNS for the I-cord nib. Magic Loop can be used if you prefer. You’ll also need stitch markers and a darning needle to complete this design. A row counter is an optional extra.
